Swarm. Damn IT!!


Prospect St, in Gtown.  Right in front of my house.  I wonder whose bees these are??
It's a big one...I'd guess 5 lbs.  Kaitlin saw the action outside as it was forming and gave me the heads up.  Chip off the old block.

Good thing they headed to Prospect St vs M Street!!

    Recaptured with some gymnastics and the help of a ladder. Re-hive, from which they absconded and returned to mother hive. I added a super onto the mother hive with some checker-boarding to try to prevent a further swarm.

    Yeah! Glad you caught it. We are hoping to find a swarm for our third hive, too.
